Thanks to the Covid-19 pandemic, the landscape has completely changed when it comes to our work habits, with hybrid or remote work increasingly becoming a default option for many of us.
A new report by cybersecurity platform Nordlayer analyzed which are the best places in the world to work remotely, finding that
Europe dominates the rankings not only with the top ten spots, but also with most of the top half.
The 2023 Global Remote Work Index analyzed data from 108 countries and scored them on various criteria, including access to stable and fast Internet connections, socioeconomic benefits such as health care, and human rights protections.
Denmark ranked first, Angola last. In between are: Spain at No. 4, Belgium at 12th, France at 15th, Croatia at 24th, Italy at 26th, Romania at 38th, and Bulgaria at 42nd. There is still a long way to go....
